A UK-based institutional funder holds an active mandate to acquire recurring trail income businesses — practices and agencies where revenue is largely passive, contracted, and recurring. Pairing Partners identifies suitable seller candidates and introduces them to the buyer.

Accounting practices are natural partners here: they hold privileged visibility into the financial health and succession readiness of exactly these businesses. We work with practices to identify clients who may be ready to explore an exit.

Many well-run businesses have genuine capital needs that conventional banks are unable or unwilling to meet — due to deal complexity, timeline, structure, or size. Pairing Partners introduces these businesses to registered advisors and capital sources with active mandates in this space.

We do not arrange, place, or advise on capital. We identify a business's need and introduce them to a registered advisor who holds the appropriate mandate. The advisor takes the process forward.

Small Business Succession

Many owner-operated businesses reach the point of succession with no clear buyer, no succession plan, and no pathway to a clean exit. Pairing Partners matches these businesses with pre-vetted buyers who carry real management credentials — drawn from corporate leadership and startup founder backgrounds.

Two structured pathways are available depending on the seller's circumstances and the buyer's capital position.

  • Option A — Clean exit: pre-vetted buyer with funds, no vendor finance required
  • Option B — Vendor finance: structured deferred payment to a qualified buyer
  • All buyers pre-vetted by Pairing Partners before introduction

Who We Approve as a Buyer
Buyers must demonstrate a verifiable track record in corporate management (10+ years), startup founding or C-suite leadership, or financial services operations. References are verified. A short interview with a Pairing Partners Principal is required before the buyer is introduced to any seller. There is no bypass on this standard.

For business owners, practice principals, and companies seeking capital who wish to be introduced to qualified buyers, investors, or capital advisors. A $1,999 due diligence commitment is required to enter the matching process.
